Daiso Donates 1 Billion Won to Wildfire-Affected Areas
To Be Used for Restoration of Affected Areas and Support for Disaster Victims
Daily goods store Daiso announced on the 31st that it has donated 1 billion KRW to help restore areas affected by wildfires.
The relief funds will be delivered through the Korean Red Cross and are expected to be used for restoring wildfire-affected areas such as Gyeongsang Province and Ulsan, as well as supporting disaster victims.
An official from Asung Daiso said, "We extend our deepest condolences to those suffering from the worst wildfire in history," and added, "We hope the affected areas will be restored as soon as possible and that everyone will regain their daily lives."

Meanwhile, Daiso visits the Dokye coal mining village area every year-end to continuously deliver briquettes, kerosene, and happiness boxes to households and children's centers in the Dokye area. Ahead of Christmas, they donated daily necessities worth about 500 million KRW to vulnerable groups.
