Launch of 'French Pie Maesil'
Topped with domestically produced maesil jam
Haitai Confectionery announced on the 31st that it will launch 'French Pie Maesil,' a pastry filled with Hadong maesil (Korean plum).
French Pie Maesil features 64 layers of pastry topped with domestically produced maesil jam. It uses native Hadong maesil with rich pulp, and the natural color of maesil extract is preserved by utilizing domestic maesil concentrate. As a seasonal menu item, only 430,000 units will be produced in limited quantities.
A representative from Haitai Confectionery said, "We plan to consistently introduce various seasonal flavors, like French Pie Maesil, which captures the scent of spring in freshly baked pastry."
