By participating in an exhibition specialized in coatings and adhesives beyond large plastics exhibitions, the company aims to increase dense communication with customer groups in each market and strengthen its position. SK Chemicals exhibited sustainable materials such as SKYBON, SKYCHDM, and ECOTRION under the slogan "Sustainable Solutions for a Responsible Future" to actively target the coating and paint sector in Europe.
SKYBON is a polyester resin free of BPA, an environmental hormone, attracting attention as a substitute for epoxy used in food contact and can coatings. SKYCHDM, also exhibited, is an eco-friendly coating material that enhances chemical resistance, heat resistance, and UV resistance. ECOTRION, a 100% plant-based polyol (an organic compound with three or more hydroxyl groups), has excellent elasticity and abrasion resistance, making it suitable as a raw material for spandex and polyurethane.
SK Chemicals plans to continue aggressive exhibition marketing. The strategy is to promote the sustainability of its technologies and materials by region, application, and field. SK Chemicals also attended the largest plastics exhibition in South America, 'Plastimagen Mexico 2025,' held from the 11th to the 14th.
