According to Hampyeong-gun on the 31st, on the 29th, the Sonbul-myeon Community Social Security Council provided English learning devices worth 3.6 million won to 90 elementary and middle school students in the area.
This project is a regionally specialized initiative funded by donations voluntarily collected from residents in 2025, aiming to expand educational opportunities and improve the learning environment for rural students.
In particular, the project seeks to increase students' interest and motivation in learning English in line with the global era, and to lay the foundation for them to grow into talents who can thrive in the international community in the long term.
Chairman Baek Hyeonggap said, "It is very meaningful to provide high-quality educational opportunities to students in rural areas where the learning environment is somewhat lacking," adding, "We will continue to pursue various support projects for students in the future."
