Pocheon-si Improves Tax Item Certification System... Nationwide Issuance 'Available'
Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 28th that starting from the 31st, the system will be improved to allow tax certificates by tax item to be issued anywhere nationwide.
The tax certificate by tax item is a certificate that allows taxpayers to verify the taxes they have paid, categorized by tax items such as local income tax, property tax, and automobile tax.
Previously, issuance was only possible at the level of each basic local government, causing inconvenience as applicants had to pay a fee per issuance and experienced long processing times when obtaining tax records from multiple regions at the civil service counters.
With this system improvement, it will be possible to view tax records from all local governments nationwide at once and issue integrated certificates immediately at the civil service counters, significantly reducing the time and cost burden on applicants. Additionally, improvements in civil service processing speed, increased administrative efficiency, and reduction of unnecessary administrative costs are also expected.
