View original imageAccording to Paju Citizen Football Club on the 28th, the event was attended by Mayor Kim Kyung-il (club owner), Chairman Kim Jeong-yeol (team leader), Coach Lee Eun-no, all players, members of the Paju Citizen Football Club Social Cooperative, and sports officials.
Chairman Kim Jeong-yeol said, “I feel a heavy responsibility as I newly joined this year,” adding, “Since this is a team that has overcome early season difficulties together, we will strengthen our organization and steadily improve our competitiveness.” He continued, “With the realistic goal of entering the upper ranks of the league, I will do my best together with the players.”
Coach Lee Eun-no expressed his determination, saying, “All the players will unite based on trust and repay with their best efforts on the field,” and “We will do our best to become a team that the citizens can be proud of.”
Club owner Kim Kyung-il (Mayor of Paju) emphasized in his congratulatory speech, “Paju Citizen Football Club is a team that was launched with great difficulty through the interest and efforts of many people, and it is a symbolic entity containing the dreams and passion of all Paju citizens.”
He added, “This year, we will focus on strengthening the team’s foundation, and next year, we plan to gradually move toward the mid- to long-term goal of advancing to K League 2,” and said, “Paju City will actively support the stable operation of the club and create a sports culture foundation that grows together with the local community.”
