Cheorwon-gun Public Library Offers Free Subscription-Based Audiobook Service 'Willa'
Cheorwon-gun, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Lee Hyun-jong) announced on the 28th that it will provide the subscription-based audiobook service 'Willa' free of charge to users of Cheorwon-gun Public Library starting April 1st to offer a unique reading culture.

View original imageCheorwon-gun Public Library will support 100 regular library members with a quarterly first-come, first-served 3-month free usage pass and plans to continue this service until the end of December this year. Applications for the usage pass can be made on the library's website.
In addition to the subscription-based e-book service, Cheorwon-gun Public Library will continue to update and provide existing e-books, audiobooks, and electronic journals.

A representative of Cheorwon-gun Public Library stated, "As the demand for non-face-to-face e-books and audiobooks among residents is gradually increasing, we are introducing new services that meet these expectations," and added, "We plan to expand services to enable continuous digital reading activities."
