HMM Donates 300 Million Won to Support Wildfire Damage Recovery
Used for Daily Necessities and Temporary Housing
HMM announced on the 28th that it will provide 300 million KRW to support residents affected by large-scale wildfires.
This donation will be used for emergency relief efforts such as recovery projects in the specially declared disaster areas of Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan, support for disaster victims' daily necessities, and provision of temporary housing. The funds will be delivered through the National Disaster Relief Association.
An HMM official stated, "We hope the affected areas will return to normal as soon as possible and that all residents can resume their daily lives quickly."

Meanwhile, HMM also provided donations and containers during the wildfires in Sokcho and Goseong in 2019 and the East Coast wildfires in 2022. In 2020, when large wildfires occurred in Australia, HMM delivered donations through its local subsidiary.
