Welcome Savings Bank Supports Wildfire Damage Recovery with 50 Million Won
Donation Delivered Through Hope Bridge
Welcome Savings Bank announced on the 27th that it will donate 50 million KRW to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to help local residents suffering from large-scale wildfires.
The donation will be used for damage recovery in the specially declared disaster areas of Sancheong-gun and Hadong-gun in Gyeongnam, Uiseong-gun in Gyeongbuk, and Ulju-gun in Ulsan, as well as for disaster victims living in temporary shelters.
Welcome Savings Bank previously provided emergency financial support to customers affected by the 2022 heavy rain damage and donated funds for recovery from wildfires in Uljin, Gyeongbuk, and Gangwon. It also delivered employee donations for recovery from the 2023 Turkey-Syria earthquake.
