Osan-si Receives 'Excellent' Grade in Ministry of the Interior and Safety's Data-Based Administrative Inspection Evaluation
High Marks for Administrative Innovation Utilizing Big Data Analysis
Osan City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 26th that it received the highest rating of "Excellent" in the '2024 Data-Based Administration Status Inspection Evaluation' conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
This evaluation, conducted on a total of 679 institutions including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions, assesses the data-based administrative capabilities of institutions in various areas such as data analysis, application of analysis results to policies, and management systems.
The city explained that it achieved excellent results in all indicators, including administrative innovation using big data analysis, receiving a near-perfect score. Previously, the city had promoted projects using big data last year, such as ▲analysis of priority areas for smoking ban zone mapping and enforcement ▲Osancheon flood analysis ▲analysis of the Yamack Festival, thereby improving administrative efficiency.
