Gyeonggi Office of Education Promotes Establishment of Unified Cost Support System for Gyeonggi-type Integrated Childcare
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is launching a system development project to establish a unified cost support system for integrated childcare, considering the maximization of administrative work efficiency and field autonomy.
On the 26th, the Office of Education announced that it held a kickoff meeting for the "Unified System Construction for Integrated Childcare Cost Support Structure" project at the Korea Social Security Information Service.
As part of the pilot project to develop the Gyeonggi-type integrated childcare cost support structure, the Office of Education initiated this project to introduce a unified financial support system common to kindergartens and daycare centers.

View original imageThe kickoff meeting was attended by the Ministry of Education’s supervising department, the Korea Social Security Information Service as the entrusted agency, and Yangju City, a co-promoting institution of the pilot project.
Representatives from each organization communicated about the core tasks of system construction, implementation strategies, and the overall project execution plan and direction.
The Office of Education plans to pilot the constructed system in September, applying it to kindergartens and daycare centers selected through a public contest in Yangju City, the pilot region for the unified cost support structure.

Meanwhile, the Gyeonggi-type integrated childcare cost support structure development pilot project was selected as an excellent case in the Education Development Special Zone pilot area on the 20th. The project was recognized for its achievements in the systematic implementation process as the first attempt nationwide.
