Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 26th that on the morning of the 25th, it conducted a focused crackdown on illegal parking and stopping within the school zone and a traffic safety campaign on the school route of Deokjeong Elementary School in the area to prepare for the 2025 school opening season.

View original imageThis campaign was carried out in a joint public-private-police format involving the Vehicle Management Division of Yangju City Hall, Yangju Police Station, Dongducheon Yangju Office of Education, and the Green Mothers' Association to prevent traffic accidents in the school zone and ensure the walking safety of children.
Participants in the campaign focused on raising awareness about illegal parking and stopping behaviors to create an environment where elementary school students can safely attend school. They urged drivers to comply with safety rules within the school zone and conducted inspections of illegal parking areas near the school.
