Gwangju City Advances Research Project to Diagnose Future Welfare Demand and Expand Welfare Infrastructure

View original imageThe research on welfare infrastructure status and demand diagnosis is being promoted to accurately grasp the current status of welfare resources in the region and to predict future welfare demand, thereby establishing a foundation for effective welfare policy formulation.
To this end, the city held a kickoff meeting on the 24th at the City Hall Vision Hall. About 20 people, including heads of social welfare institutions, facilities, organizations, and related public officials, attended the meeting and exchanged various opinions to ensure the successful progress of the research.
This research project will be conducted by the Gyeonggi Welfare Foundation over six months from March to August, with a total project cost of 18.62 million KRW. The main contents include △ investigation and analysis of the current status of social welfare facilities △ diagnosis of welfare infrastructure demand according to population and regional characteristics △ expert opinion survey related to welfare infrastructure demand △ and suggestions for Gwangju City's future response plans and roles according to welfare infrastructure demand.
