President Lee Jaehyuk Visits Wildfire Site
Gyeongbuk Development Corporation (President Lee Jaehyuk) announced on the 26th that it has donated a total of 40 million KRW to the Gyeongbuk branch of the Korean Red Cross and the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea to support recovery efforts following recent wildfire damage in Uiseong, Gyeongbuk and other areas.
On the 25th, President Lee Jaehyuk personally visited the wildfire command center in Uiseong-gun to inspect the situation on site and donated funds for emergency relief for wildfire victims and regional recovery.
Large-scale wildfires in Uiseong and nearby areas have caused many residents to lose their homes and face significant hardship. In response, Gyeongbuk Development Corporation decided to make a donation to provide swift support and help affected residents return to their daily lives as soon as possible.
President Lee Jaehyuk said, "I would like to express my deepest condolences to the residents who have suffered great losses due to this unexpected fire, and I hope that the wildfires in the affected areas will be extinguished soon so that daily life can be restored."
