Polaris Office Shows Growth with Aggressive Promotions... AI Subscription Revenue Up 551% Year-on-Year
Polaris Office is expanding user experience and boosting sales by increasing AI subscribers through a discount promotion, adding four new features to its AI application app, ‘Polaris Office AI’.
Polaris Office announced on the 26th that through its annual new semester promotion running until the 31st, it is offering a 70% discount on the AI subscription plan, which normally costs 14,900 KRW per month, at a striking price of 4,500 KRW. As a result, AI subscription revenue increased by 551% compared to the same period last year.
Polaris Office applies large-scale language models (LLM) and various AI technologies to its existing cloud-based document editing app, ‘Polaris Office,’ significantly enhancing work productivity in document creation and providing a new user experience.
This update includes features that maximize users’ work productivity such as ▲ AI deep information search (Perplexity) ▲ voice-to-text conversion (Clova Speech) ▲ full document AI translation (DeepL) ▲ presentation video generation (HeyGen).
In particular, with the addition of AI functions that automate necessary tasks for document creation such as research, draft writing, and revision, the efficiency of document work has been dramatically improved, leading to increased demand for the AI subscription plan.
Lee Haeseok, Head of Business Division and Vice President of Group AI at Polaris Office, said, “Although it is still ongoing, the promotion is proceeding successfully with a good response as new AI features are added,” and added, “We plan to further increase sales by expanding AI user experience through aggressive promotions.”
He continued, “As the AI market grows, AI application apps are also growing worldwide, and we will expand paid subscribers and overseas subscribers through continuous addition of AI features.”
