Wildfires that broke out in Uiseong and Andong, Gyeongbuk, continue to spread, leading to the elevation of the national heritage disaster alert level to the 'Severe' stage.
On the 25th at 5:30 PM, the National Heritage Agency announced that it had issued a 'Severe' level national heritage disaster alert nationwide. This is the first time the national heritage disaster alert has been raised to the 'Severe' level. The alert levels are classified as Interest, Caution, Warning, and Severe.
