Professor Oh Ju-hyung has been appointed as the director of Kyung Hee University Medical Center. Kyung Hee University Medical Center is a unified medical center system that integrates two medical institutions under Kyung Hee University: Kyung Hee Medical Center and Gangdong Kyung Hee University Hospital. Professor Oh Ju-hyung has been serving as the director of Kyung Hee Medical Center since 2023.

View original imageAccording to Kyung Hee University Medical Center on the 25th, he graduated from Kyung Hee University College of Medicine in 1986 and earned his master's and doctoral degrees in Radiology from the graduate school of the same university. Since then, he has been affiliated with Kyung Hee Medical Center, holding key positions such as Director of Management and Director of Planning and Coordination. Recognized for his outstanding management performance, he has served as the director of Kyung Hee University Hospital since 2019 and as the director of Kyung Hee University Medical Center since 2023.
Externally, he is active as a member of the Ministry of Health and Welfare's Medical Quality Evaluation Committee, the Tertiary General Hospital Designation Evaluation Committee, and the Health Insurance Expert Evaluation Committee. He has also served as the chairman of the Association of Tertiary General Hospitals, president (chairman) of the Korean Society of Radiology, member of the Ministry of Health and Welfare's New Medical Technology Evaluation Committee, representative member of the Hospital Association for Medical Delivery System Improvement, and chairman of the Member Cooperation Committee of the Korean Hospital Association.
Oh Ju-hyung, the newly appointed director of Kyung Hee University Medical Center, stated, "Despite the difficult management environment caused by the prolonged medical dispute, under an emergency management system, all faculty and staff have united to continuously seek ways to minimize medical service gaps, increase revenue, and reduce costs, striving for stable management normalization.
