K-Content Holds 100 Billion Won Export Consultations at Hong Kong's 'Filmart'
Actual Contracts Signed for Titles Including "Geunomeun Heugyeomryong" and "24si Health Club"
Domestic content companies achieved export consultation results exceeding 100 billion KRW at the film and TV content market 'FILMART 2025,' held in Hong Kong from the 17th to the 20th.
According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency on the 25th, companies participating in the Korean Pavilion at this year's FILMART recorded export consultation amounts of approximately 74.41 million USD (about 109.3 billion KRW) through 540 consultations. This represents a 55% increase compared to last year. The number of consultations also rose by 25%.
The Korean Pavilion featured twenty domestic broadcasting and video content companies, including CJ ENM, MBC, SBS, KBS Media, Coupang Play, and SLL JoongAng, showcasing about sixty content titles. Among these, dozens of titles such as the tvN drama 'Geunomeun Heugyeomryong' and the KBS drama '24si Health Club' secured actual contracts worth 20.14 million USD (approximately 29.6 billion KRW).
