Ham Young-joo, Chairman of Hana Financial Group, has successfully secured reappointment.
On the 25th, Hana Financial Group approved Chairman Ham's appointment as an inside director at the regular shareholders' meeting held at the Myeongdong headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul.
Previously, it was widely expected that his reappointment would pass smoothly, as Chairman Ham had secured approval votes from more than half of all shareholders.
Chairman Ham took office in March 2022. Hana Financial recorded a record-high performance of 3.7388 trillion KRW last year and maintained its position as the leading bank for two consecutive years since 2022.

With this successful reappointment, Chairman Ham will lead Hana Financial Group until March 2028. This is expected to give momentum to his second term, focusing on value-up and strengthening non-banking sectors.
