Jeongeup City Recruiting Tenants for 'Youth Startup Challenge Shop'

Jeongeup City in North Jeolla Province is recruiting tenants for the 'Youth Startup Challenge Shop,' a startup space to support young entrepreneurs, until the 31st.
According to the city on the 25th, the Youth Startup Challenge Shop is located at 21 Taepyeong 2-gil, Jeongeup, and is equipped with various startup support infrastructure, including eight startup offices, a seminar room, meeting room, shared facilities, and a rooftop lounge area.
The recruitment targets are prospective young entrepreneurs, current entrepreneurs, and related organizations, with priority given to those starting a business in the region or planning to relocate. Selected tenants will be able to use office space, basic office equipment, and shared facilities at an affordable rental fee.
Applicants must be young entrepreneurs or prospective entrepreneurs aged 18 to 45 as of the announcement date, and a total of two teams will be selected. The security deposit is 615,600 KRW per year if paid annually, or 307,800 KRW if paid semi-annually, and the rent is 7,500 KRW per square meter, charged once a year.
The city plans to comprehensively review the startup capabilities, business plans, and entrepreneurial commitment of the applicants to select the final tenants.
Mayor Lee Haksoo said, "The Youth Startup Challenge Shop provides the optimal environment for young people dreaming of starting a business in Jeongeup," and added, "We will continue to provide generous support to expand the youth startup infrastructure."
