Active Response Indicated to Acting President Han's Directive
The Presidential Office stated on the 25th, "The National Security Office will do its utmost to consolidate the capabilities of related ministries in safeguarding the national interests of the Republic of Korea."
In a press release on the same day, the Presidential Office emphasized, "Acting President and Prime Minister Han Deok-su urged that a close information-sharing and cooperation system among foreign and security ministries be maintained centered on the Presidential Office's National Security Office."
The Presidential Office also conveyed, "At the emergency National Security Council meeting chaired by Acting President Han the previous day, he stressed the need to thoroughly prepare so that timely cooperation can be achieved on key issues such as the new U.S. administration, diplomacy, defense, and economic security."
