Cutting-Edge Logistics Technology... Strengthening Third-Party and Contract Logistics
Accelerating Global Business Growth Through Strategic Investments in Key Countries
Shin Young-soo, CEO of CJ Logistics, stated on the 25th, "We will transform the paradigm of the courier industry through the 'Everyday O-NE' service, a seven-day-a-week delivery service."
At the '115th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders' held at the headquarters in Jongno-gu, Seoul, CEO Shin said, "We will focus on three key tasks to enhance corporate value and maximize shareholder profits."
Everyday O-NE is a seven-day delivery service introduced by CJ Logistics in January this year. With deliveries available on Sundays and public holidays, consumers have more purchasing options, and sellers have increased sales opportunities.
CEO Shin added, "We will strengthen domestic and international third-party logistics (3PL) businesses based on our superior logistics technology and continue the growth of the contract logistics (CL) sector." Global business growth will also accelerate through strategic investments in countries such as the United States and India.
He forecasted significant macroeconomic uncertainties this year due to high inflation and low growth phases. However, he also anticipated expanding new opportunities through continuous profitability improvement, innovation, and securing superior capabilities.
CEO Shin stated, "We will do our best to enhance shareholder value by further increasing the company's value based on sound management and strengthened profitability."
