Busan Gijang County Recruits Participants for 'First Half Single-Person Household Support'... Strengthening Self-Reliance Capacity

Gijang-gun, Busan is recruiting participants for the 'First Half Single-Person Household Support Program' to enhance self-care abilities and support the formation of social networks for single-person households.
This first half program will run from May to June, offering a variety of programs designed to promote a healthy lifestyle for single-person households.
Programs include 'A Special Dish for Myself', where participants learn to prepare healthy and delicious meals on their own; 'Rice Desserts for Myself', which focuses on making desserts with healthy ingredients; 'Mindfulness! Green Therapy', which helps relieve stress and support mental health; and 'Sweet Sleep! Yoga', aimed at improving insomnia.
The application period is from April 1 to April 14, and any single-person household residing in Gijang-gun according to the resident registration can apply.
Single-person households wishing to participate can apply online using the QR code on the promotional leaflet. The leaflet can be found on the Gijang-gun website under Information Disclosure - Announcements and is also available at the administrative welfare centers in all five towns and townships.
County Mayor Jeong Jongbok stated, "With the increasing number of single-person households, we will actively support residents so they can lead healthy lives through various programs," and added, "We hope for the active interest and participation of single-person households."
