On this day, about 2,000 people, including citizens, organizations, and public officials, participated in activities such as tree planting and tree distribution. BMC created a corporate participation garden to highlight the importance of nature to citizens.
BMC has continuously worked to expand green spaces in the city and realize the vision of 'Busan, a city in a garden' through close cooperation with Busan City.
The creation of the corporate participation garden provides citizens with a space to experience nature up close.
Shin Changho, President of Busan Metropolitan Corporation, said, "Participating in this Citizen Tree Planting event was a meaningful opportunity to fulfill our corporate social responsibility," and added, "We will continue to cooperate with Busan City to provide various opportunities for citizens to recognize and practice the importance of the environment."
