This facility will be built on a 1,947㎡ site with a single-story building (499㎡), and will be equipped with program rooms, a lounge, shower rooms, a kitchen, and a medical room, all tailored to the needs of people with disabilities. With an investment of 3.1 billion KRW, the daytime care facility plans to provide customized care services such as life skills training and independent living training for people with developmental disabilities in the region, while also reducing the burden on their caregivers.
In April, construction will also begin on a vocational rehabilitation facility for people with disabilities on a nearby 3,984㎡ site. The vocational rehabilitation facility will be equipped with workrooms, storage, and rehabilitation counseling rooms to support job creation and independence for people with disabilities. Through this, it is expected that economic activities and opportunities for social participation for people with disabilities in the region will be expanded.
