View original imageThe Student Counseling Center at Honam University (Director: Lim Sujin) recently held an appointment ceremony for the 2025 academic year’s adjunct counseling committee members and intern counselors, and conducted training on personal information protection and information security, the center announced on the 23rd.
The appointment ceremony, held on the 21st, was attended by 28 people, including 24 adjunct counseling committee members and intern counselors, as well as 4 interpreters supporting Chinese, Vietnamese, and Uzbekistani students.
The center presented letters of appointment to the participants and provided guidance on their future roles and directions. The center requested efficient and professional counseling services to help students adapt to university life, academics, career paths, and to address psychological and emotional difficulties.
The counselors appointed this time will carry out various practical tasks at the student counseling center for one year, including individual counseling, group counseling, psychological assessments, and interpretations, fulfilling their roles as professional counselors.
The Honam University Student Counseling Center not only supports students’ psychological stability and growth, but also operates counselor training programs every year, continuously contributing to the development of professional counseling personnel in the local community.
Director Lim Sujin emphasized, "The Student Counseling Center is not just a place that provides counseling services, but a space that fosters student growth," adding, "Each of you is a valuable part of this therapeutic community, helping to create a healing environment together."
