Damyang Welfare Foundation Provides 'Congratulatory Gifts for Newborn Families'
Strollers, Car Seats, and Other Gifts Worth 500,000 KRW
The Damyang Welfare Foundation in Jeonnam announced on the 21st that it will launch a new project to support families with newborns by providing congratulatory gifts worth 500,000 KRW to help alleviate financial burdens.
The program is available to families who have been registered residents of Damyang for at least one year and are listed as pregnant at the local health center. Applications can be submitted to the Damyang Welfare Foundation either 40 days before the expected due date or within 30 days after registering the birth. The congratulatory gifts include items such as strollers and car seats, carefully selected to meet the needs of expectant mothers.
Lee Jeongok, Chairperson of the Damyang Welfare Foundation, stated, "We wish for a happy beginning for new families and hope that the childbirth support project will help even more families."
Meanwhile, the Damyang Welfare Foundation continues to provide a variety of support, including living expenses and medical costs for low-income households, improvements to residential environments, as well as allowances and school trip expenses for low-income youth.
