A Jin Air passenger plane departing from Gimpo Airport to Pohang and Gyeongju Airports made an emergency return on the 21st due to technical issues.
According to Jin Air, flight LJ659, which took off from Gimpo Airport at 9 a.m. that day, decided to return after abnormal messages appeared on the altimeter and speedometer during the flight, and made an emergency landing at Gimpo Airport around 10 a.m., one hour later.
There were 42 passengers on board, and no injuries were reported. Jin Air is currently taking follow-up measures including maintenance of the aircraft and passenger protection. A replacement flight was also arranged and departed around 1:07 p.m.

Jin Air had also made an emergency return last month on the 25th due to aircraft issues while flying from Busan Gimhae Airport to Okinawa, Japan.
