Those who criticized a medical student who returned to school on an internet community site have been referred to the prosecution.
The Cyber Crime Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced on the 21st that two individuals, including Mr. A, were sent to the prosecution without detention on charges of defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act and insult under the Criminal Act.
According to the police, they are suspected of publicly insulting students who returned to school with the intent to disrupt medical school classes or spreading false information.
