110 American International Students from Seoul to Tour Major Attractions in Ulsan on the 22nd
Real-Time Promotion to Friends Back Home via Social Media... Tourism Impact Expected
Ulsan City announced on the 22nd that over 110 American international students from major universities in Seoul will visit Ulsan to tour its main attractions.
This tour is organized for American international students who have entered major universities in Seoul for the new semester and will take place over two days and one night.
On the first day, the 22nd, the group will depart from Seoul Station in the morning, arrive at Ulsan Station at 11 a.m., tour Ulsan, and then move on to Busan the following day.
Upon arrival in Ulsan, they will visit 'Fe01,' the world's largest renewable complex cultural space located in Seosaeng-myeon, Ulju-gun, as well as 'Ganjeolgot,' a famous sunrise spot in Korea.
Next, they will move to downtown Ulsan to visit Taehwagang National Garden and Ulsan Bridge Observatory, experiencing firsthand the charm of Ulsan as both an eco-friendly tourist city and an industrial city. After completing the Ulsan tour, they will attend a welcome dinner at Shilla Stay Ulsan before heading to Busan the next day.
A city official stated, "We expect that American international students, who are highly active on social networking services such as Instagram, will play a significant role in promoting Ulsan's tourism resources internationally," and added, "We will continue to actively promote Ulsan's diverse attractions to attract more foreign tourists in the future."
