[Featured Stock] Inzi Controls to Supply Batteries Worth 15 Trillion KRW to SK On Nissan... Highlighting Parts Supply Increase
Inzi Controls is showing strong performance. This is interpreted as being influenced by the news that SK On signed a 15 trillion won electric vehicle battery supply contract with Japanese automaker Nissan.
As of 9:40 AM on the 20th, Inzi Controls is trading at 6,250 won, up 4.17% from the previous day.
According to industry sources, SK On announced yesterday that it signed a battery supply contract with Nissan. From 2028 to 2033, SK On will supply 99.4 GWh of high-performance high-nickel pouch cell batteries to Nissan over six years. This quantity is enough to be installed in about 1 million mid-sized electric vehicles.
This is the first time SK On has secured a Japanese automaker as a client. It is particularly meaningful as SK On has secured a new client amid a stagnation in battery demand due to the electric vehicle chasm (temporary demand stagnation). Currently, SK On counts Hyundai Motor Group, Ford, Volkswagen, and Daimler as clients, and has now added a major new client.
