Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, announced that he plans to contact Donald Trump, President of the United States.
On the 19th (local time), according to AFP and other sources, President Zelensky, who is on an official visit to Finland, made this statement during a meeting with the press.
He added, "I look forward to hearing from President Trump about the content of the dialogue between the U.S. and Russian leaders."
President Zelensky said, "We are ready to send a negotiation team for further discussions on the ceasefire," and added, "We will form a team to participate in technical discussions on energy and maritime airstrike ceasefire measures at the meeting to be held in Saudi Arabia."
