Kibo Opens Mapo Branch in Seoul Digital Media City
Strengthening Technology Finance Support in Northwestern Seoul
The Korea Technology Finance Corporation announced on the 19th that it has established a new Mapo branch to strengthen technology finance support for small and medium-sized venture businesses in the northwestern region of Seoul.
Seoul Digital Media City, where the Mapo branch is located, is an information technology (IT) and media industry cluster in Mapo-gu, densely populated with broadcasting companies, media firms, and cultural content producers. Nearby, startups and IT-based technology companies are established, and with excellent transportation networks and startup infrastructure, the attraction of advanced technology companies continues to expand.
Through the opening of the Mapo branch, Kibo aims to resolve the inconvenience faced by small and venture businesses in the northwestern region of Seoul who had been using distant branches, thereby improving customer accessibility. The corporation plans to actively discover numerous venture and startup companies and respond promptly to the policy finance demands of small and medium-sized venture businesses.
