The Urban Complex Project is a public initiative aimed at improving residential environments in aging urban areas such as station areas, semi-industrial zones, and low-rise residential areas by providing various benefits like increased floor area ratio.
Previously, Seongbuk-gu designated Jangwi 12 District as a planned Urban Complex Project zone in October last year in cooperation with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), and began the formal designation process starting with public consultation. After reviews by the Central Urban Planning Committee and the Central Land Expropriation Committee, it has now been designated as an Urban Complex Project zone.
Jangwi 12 District has excellent transportation accessibility due to its proximity to the upcoming Dongbuk Line Sinmia Station and the Northern Arterial Road, and it benefits from nearby infrastructure facilities in completed redevelopment areas such as Jangwi New Town, creating a pleasant and convenient living environment.
