Daegu Cyber University and the Daegu Association for the Informatization of the Disabled held a mutual exchange agreement ceremony and a learning support device handover ceremony on the 17th at the C.I.R conference room in the main building of Daegu Cyber University, aiming to bridge the digital divide for people with disabilities and guarantee their right to education.

View original imageThrough this agreement, the two organizations agreed to cooperate in expanding lifelong education opportunities for people with disabilities, strengthening digital capabilities, and improving learning conditions for students with disabilities. In particular, they have established practical measures to enhance online education accessibility and support smooth learning activities for disabled learners.
The learning support device (laptop) handover ceremony, held after the agreement ceremony, was a meaningful initiative designed to provide practical support for students with disabilities, helping them participate in learning activities smoothly and expanding educational opportunities in online environments.
The laptops provided are regarded as the first tangible outcome to expand information accessibility and guarantee the right to education, and are expected to serve as a foundation for continued support projects in the future.
Lee Geunyong, President of Daegu Cyber University, stated, "Through this project, we will focus on developing customized online learning environments and specialized educational services for people with disabilities, and do our best to be recognized as a mutually beneficial cooperation model in partnership with the local community."
