Accordingly, Jeonnam Province reached a university integration agreement at the government's request and recommended the establishment of a national medical school to the government in November last year."
She continued, "However, as the government recently reset the medical school quota, concerns over the establishment of a medical school in Jeonnam have grown. The establishment of a national medical school in Jeollanam-do is a public promise by the government and must be fulfilled for the sake of administrative continuity and credibility. Therefore, the government should allocate the medical school quota to Jeonnam as promised and promptly proceed with the establishment procedures for the national medical school."
