Dongseo University Signs MOU with GU VINA in Vietnam to Lead Global Talent Development
Dongseo University (President Jang Jeguk) has signed a memorandum of understanding with GU VINA (CEO Kim Namil) for "the cultivation of global talent and the establishment of an industry-academia cooperation system."

View original imageThe signing ceremony, held on the 17th in the Global Room of the New Millennium Hall at Dongseo University, was attended by GU VINA Executive Director Kim Deokjun, Dongseo University Career Plus Center Director Jeong Dowoon, and six other representatives from both organizations.
GU VINA is a global leading company specializing in the production of electronic and automotive parts, recognized for its excellent quality and technological capabilities, with its manufacturing base located in Vietnam.
Through this agreement, the two institutions have agreed to cooperate on: ▲ joint development and implementation of industry-academia educational content for global talent cultivation ▲ joint policy research, information sharing, and establishment of a mutual support system for talent development ▲ strengthening student competencies ▲ support and cooperation for attracting international students and providing customized field education at global industrial sites.
With this agreement, both organizations plan to collaborate on the joint development of industry-academia cooperation programs for nurturing global professionals, joint policy research and information sharing, and establishing a mutual support system for talent development.
Jeong Dowoon, Director of the Career Plus Center at Dongseo University, stated, "This agreement will serve as a foundation for building an industry-academia cooperation system to enhance global competencies. We will expand overseas internship and employment opportunities, promote sustainable growth through product design improvements and ESG research, and establish a close cooperation system between the university and companies to ensure that talented individuals can advance into the global market with stability."
