Gangjin County Holds 'Integrity Campaign' for Tourists and Residents
Promoting Integrity at the Camellia Festival by Distributing Hot Packs
Gangjin County, South Jeolla Province (Governor Kang Jinwon), announced on the 18th that it successfully conducted an integrity campaign targeting tourists and residents on the 16th, in conjunction with the 2nd Gangjin Baekryeonsa Camellia Festival, with the participation of all staff members from the Planning and Public Relations Department.
This campaign was launched to raise awareness about the importance of integrity among tourists and residents and to promote a culture of clean administration.

View original imageOn the day of the event, staff members wearing integrity sashes delivered messages of integrity to tourists using promotional placards. They also distributed promotional items such as hot packs and wet wipes to visitors, increasing interest in integrity-related systems.
The integrity campaign drew significant attention from tourists and was actively carried out. One tourist who participated in the event shared, "I was reminded once again that the value of integrity is important not only in administration but also in our daily lives."
Governor Kang Jinwon stated, "We plan to continue promoting and spreading a culture of integrity by linking it with various festivals so that a culture of integrity can take root in our organization," and added, "We will do our best to realize fair and transparent administration for residents and tourists through diverse integrity campaigns in the future."
Gangjin County has launched the 'Gangjin Integrity Promotion Team,' composed of the governor, deputy governor, directors, and senior officials at grade 5 or higher, to set the direction for anti-corruption and integrity policies and systematically respond to major issues. The Integrity Promotion Team will focus on setting practical policy directions to enhance Gangjin County's integrity and strengthening the practice of integrity within the public sector.
