Daejeon TP Recruiting 'Civil-Military Bridge Coordinators' for Defense and Drone Sectors
About 20 Coordinators to Be Selected and Active Until the End of 2026
Daejeon Technopark announced that it is recruiting 'Civil-Military Bridge Coordinators' on a rolling basis until November 30, to provide customized on-site consulting in the defense and drone sectors for the Defense Industry Innovation Cluster.
The Civil-Military Bridge Coordinator provides tailored consulting for technology commercialization in the defense and drone sectors, both upstream and downstream, to help Daejeon companies enter the defense market. Last year, 26 coordinators were selected and are currently active.
The consulting fields being recruited include core technology development and mass production, connecting small and medium-sized enterprises' technologies to weapon systems and supporting test evaluations, localization of parts development, and defense project management.
Applicants must have at least 10 years of experience in defense-related positions in the military, companies, or institutions. After qualification review and registration as a coordinator, they will work in a personal capacity, not as members of Daejeon TP.
Activities will be conducted through on-site consulting, directly meeting with companies when there is demand, taking into account the coordinator's area of expertise.
Approximately 20 coordinators will be recruited and will be active until December 31, 2026, when the Defense Industry Innovation Cluster project ends. Applications are accepted via email, and detailed information about the announcement can be found on the Daejeon Technopark website.
Kim Wooyeon, President of Daejeon Technopark, said, "There are still many companies that wish to enter the defense market but face high entry barriers and need professional coordinators. We hope that many experts in the defense and drone sectors will participate so that companies in Daejeon, the capital of K-defense, can grow further through the professional consulting of Civil-Military Bridge Coordinators."
