#1. Haengbok Sundubu restaurant, located in Dongnae-gu, Busan, serves sundubu for 6,000 won. It is well known as a local favorite that uses domestic ingredients such as soybeans and kimchi. Busan City has designated it as a 'Safe Restaurant' so that citizens can dine with peace of mind.
#2. Namgyeong, a Chinese restaurant in Saha-gu, sells jjajangmyeon for 4,000 won. Despite keeping prices frozen for several years, it offers generous portions, making it popular among students and office workers. The restaurant also practices 'Love Fruit' sponsorship even under difficult circumstances.
Busan City is making great efforts to promote 'Good Price' establishments.
Busan City (Mayor Park Hyungjun) announced on the 18th that it will significantly strengthen its Good Price establishment activation policy this year to boost the economy through spring domestic demand stimulation.
The city plans to actively discover new Good Price establishments in cooperation with districts and counties, expanding the designation to over 750 locations this year. As of the second half of last year, there were 690 Good Price establishments.
To promote Good Price establishments, various events will be held, including ▲discounts in partnership with card companies ▲a nationwide contest to recommend Good Price establishments.
In collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and nine card companies including Shinhan Card, a discount event will be held where customers who pay 10,000 won or more at Good Price establishments with a card will receive a 2,000 won cashback per transaction. Since the event period and details differ by card company, checking each card company's website can yield additional benefits.
A nationwide recommendation contest, 'Looking for Good Price Establishments,' will also be held. Through the 'Good Price Establishment Visit Certification Challenge' event, the city aims to increase citizen interest and encourage more usage.
Additionally, the city plans to expand support for Good Price establishments, provide industry-specific customized incentives, and strengthen promotional activities to encourage active participation from businesses.
Busan City increased its support budget from 580 million won last year to 730 million won this year. By diversifying incentives into customized items (goods, public utility fee support, environmental improvement), the city aims to increase business owner satisfaction and encourage continued participation.
In addition to goods and other support, the city will strengthen promotional activities through various online and offline channels, including encouraging public institution usage, SNS and website promotions (city, districts, public corporations, etc.), and publishing in community meetings and district newsletters.
Furthermore, by providing location and various information about Good Price establishments through Naver Map, Kakao Map, and T Map, consumer accessibility has been improved.
When searching for Good Price establishments nationwide, consumers can check various information such as location, services offered, ratings, and reviews.
