Foreigners-Only Consultation Desk Opened at Yongin City Job Center
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 18th that it has established a dedicated job consultation desk for foreigners at the Yongin City Job Center located at 3 Gangnam-ro, Giheung-gu.
The city explained that the opening of this desk was made to help stabilize the settlement of foreigners in the local community, as the number of registered foreigners in the area has exceeded 20,000 (as of September 2024) and a large influx of highly skilled foreign workers in the semiconductor sector has occurred.
Foreigners residing in Yongin holding F2, F4, F5, and F6 visas can visit the center without prior reservation on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. to receive job consultations. Companies in need of foreign employees can also inquire at the center.
The center plans to actively discover related job opportunities through demand surveys for companies requiring foreign workers.
