Safety Assessment Available Through 15 Items
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 18th that it will provide a notice containing precautions for citizens to safely sign jeon-wolse (monthly rent) housing contracts during the moving season, along with a 'self-diagnosis program.'
The notice organizes the items tenants must check in jeon-wolse contracts by stages such as before and after the contract, and after problems arise. It also includes QR codes linking to related information-providing institutions and a housing lease consultation casebook.
The city has created and offers a 'Safe Self-Diagnosis Program' so that citizens can check the safety of the target housing themselves before signing a contract. This program helps pre-assess the safety of the housing to be contracted through 15 items related to the contract.
The city plans to post the notice and self-diagnosis program on its website and promote active use by citizens.
