The Child Support Enforcement Agency Appoints Lawyer Jeon Ji-hyun as Its First Director
Former Presidential Office Administrative Officer
Attorney Jeon Ji-hyun has been appointed as the inaugural director of the Child Support Enforcement Agency.
The Child Support Enforcement Agency, under the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, announced on the 17th that Attorney Jeon has officially begun her term as the first director. The term is three years.
Director Jeon earned a Bachelor of Laws from Yonsei University and completed a master's program in North Korean Studies at the University of North Korean Studies. She subsequently served as an administrative officer in the Presidential Office's Public Relations Secretary, a director at the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs, a non-standing director of the Korean Women Lawyers Association, and worked as an attorney at the law firm Sihwa.

The Child Support Enforcement Agency stated, "We expect Director Jeon, with her comprehensive legal knowledge and extensive experience as an attorney, to provide more substantial child support enforcement services."
