View original imageSeo-gu, Daejeon announced that it will conduct an open recruitment of financial institutions to designate the next district treasury, as the current treasury contract period expires this year.
The eligible applicants are financial institutions with their headquarters or branches located in Seo-gu, and applications and proposals will be accepted for two days from April 1 to April 2.
The Treasury Designation Evaluation Committee will then evaluate and review six criteria: ▲the internal and external credit rating and financial stability of the institution ▲loan and deposit interest rates for the district ▲convenience for local residents ▲treasury management capabilities ▲contributions to the local community and cooperation projects with the district ▲and contribution to carbon neutrality.
The financial institution finally selected will begin the next district treasury contract starting January 1, 2026.
Seo Cheolmo, head of the district office, stated, "Selecting the district treasury is directly related to the management of residents' taxes, so we will designate a treasury that can contribute to the development of the district through a fair and transparent evaluation."
