Class101, First Annual Profit Since Inception... Operating Profit of 3.9 Billion KRW
Introducing AI-Based Personalized Course Recommendations This Year
Expanding Subscription Services for Enterprises
Creator content platform Class101 announced on the 17th that it has secured financial soundness by achieving its first annual operating profit surplus since its establishment.
Last year, Class101 recorded an operating profit of 3.9 billion KRW and a net profit of 1.8 billion KRW. This represents an improvement of 27 billion KRW and 27.3 billion KRW respectively compared to the previous year. Class101 optimized its platform operation methods to drive continuous growth and revenue generation for creators. In August, it piloted the Creator Home feature, creating an environment that provides a one-stop service from course creation to communication with Classmates (subscribers) and merchandise sales, focusing on reducing creators' operational burdens and diversifying revenue models.
Through this, approximately 130,000 creators provided over 6,000 classes in a stable manner. This year, Class101 plans to continue its growth by ▲introducing AI-based personalized course recommendation services ▲expanding subscription services for enterprises ▲advancing the Creator Home feature. In particular, it intends to support creators in effectively exposing their content using the AI recommendation system and pioneer the business-to-business (B2B) market with customized educational content for corporate clients.
