Yongin City "Seeking Citizen Ideas for Municipal Development"
'Policy Idea Contest' Open Until the 11th of Next Month
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province is holding the '2025 Yongin City Policy Idea Contest' until the 11th of next month to incorporate citizens' creative ideas into city administration.
Under the theme "Creating the Future Together, Policy Ideas for Realizing the Yongin Renaissance," this contest invites proposals that can contribute to all areas of administration, including ▲Economy & Jobs ▲Urban & Transportation ▲Culture & Tourism ▲Education & Childcare ▲Welfare & Health ▲Environment & Agriculture.
The submission period is until the 11th of next month. Entries can be submitted via the 'National Idea Platform' or by email. The results will be announced on the city’s website in June. Detailed information can be found on the Yongin City Hall website.
The city will select a total of eight ideas through a first-round review by the relevant departments and a second-round evaluation by the proposal review committee. Selected ideas will be awarded prizes of ▲Grand Prize (1 person) 1,000,000 KRW ▲Excellence Prize (2 people) 500,000 KRW each ▲Encouragement Prize (5 people) 300,000 KRW each.
