Hyundai Card, Taiwan Line Pay Payment Service... "Enhancing Payment Convenience for 12 Million Members"
No Separate App Installation Needed
Merchant Map for Taiwan Hotspots Provided
Hyundai Card announced on the 17th that it has partnered with global payment provider LINE Pay to launch Hyundai Card application payment services in Taiwan.
In Taiwan, QR payments are widespread at convenience stores, large supermarkets, and restaurants frequently visited by tourists. This means that users can conveniently use the payment service within the Hyundai Card app without having to install a separate app or go through complicated procedures in Taiwan.
When Hyundai Card members open the Hyundai Card app locally in Taiwan and tap the app card tab, the menu "Pay with LINE Pay in Taiwan" appears. Payment is made by presenting or scanning the QR code or barcode displayed on the screen.
To enhance user convenience, Hyundai Card also supports a "merchant map" showing locations where LINE Pay can be used.
By selecting "Hyundai Card X LINE Pay Usage Tips" under "How to Use Hyundai Card App Smartly" within the Hyundai Card app, users can find not only payment methods but also popular hotspots in Taiwan.
A Hyundai Card representative said, "Through domestic and international collaborations such as premium cards, private label credit cards (PLCC), and American Express, we have enhanced product competitiveness and provided differentiated overseas services, achieving the highest overseas payment volume for two consecutive years. By collaborating with LINE Pay, the number one simple payment service in Taiwan, we will improve overseas payment convenience for our 12 million members."
