The 'Ulleung-gun Youth Participation Organization,' which represents the voices of youths in Ulleung-gun, North Gyeongsang Province, officially began its activities on the 15th.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Governor Nam Han-gwon, the Director of Culture and Sports, and other key officials, who presented letters of appointment to the youth representatives.

View original imageThe Youth Participation Organization is an official body established to enable young people to actively participate in local community policies and projects. It aims to promote the rights and interests of youths and deliver their diverse opinions to the local government.
After receiving their letters of appointment, the youths actively shared their suggestions and points for improvement for Ulleung-gun during a meeting with Governor Nam.
Various issues, including transportation problems and the expansion of youth activity spaces, were discussed. Governor Nam listened attentively to the youths' opinions and expressed his intention to continue communication with them.
Afterward, the Youth Participation Organization held an orientation and regular meeting, during which they established this year's activity plans.
Going forward, the Ulleung-gun Youth Participation Organization is expected to carry out vibrant activities to improve youth policies in the local community.
