Regarding President Yoon's release, Pastor Jeon said, "Putting him in prison was also an act of God," adding, "The suffering was given to achieve freedom and unification during the remaining two and a half years of President Yoon's term." He also claimed that President Yoon's detention in the detention center was to become a world-renowned figure like the late Presidents Rhee Syngman and Park Chung-hee.
He continued, "President Yoon will be released within this week. He will not be the old Yoon Suk-yeol but a completely transformed Yoon Suk-yeol who has appeared from heaven," and said, "if martial law had not been imposed, South Korea would have fallen to North Korea." He also emphasized, "The Constitutional Court must completely dismiss President Yoon's impeachment this week."
