Government Reappoints Song In-chang as G20 International Cooperation Ambassador
The government reappointed Song Inchang, the current G20 International Cooperation Ambassador, on the 14th to support diplomatic activities in preparation for the G20 summit.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Song is an international economic expert who has served as the Director General of International Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, Director of the International Financial Policy Bureau, Director at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and Director at the Asian Development Bank (ADB). After being first appointed as the G20 International Cooperation Ambassador in 2023, he has carried out the 'Sherpa' role, overseeing all domestic and international preparations related to the G20 summit for two years.
